To The Coast

 

On the way to our cliff-side hotel on the Adriatic Sea, we stopped at Hadrian's Villa with a little time for exploring the grounds. Our bus ride took us over the Apennines and the road became smaller and more winding as we made our way to the tip of the Gargano Peninsula. The views could not be beat.

The next morning, the sea was calm enough for us to have a boat ride down the coast. Breathtaking doesn't begin to describe it. Back at the hotel, we watched a pasta-making demonstration that ended in the most decadent lunch. All we had room for at dinner was gelato!
