Positano

Heading North

While it was hard to leave mysterious Matera, the excitement of dropping in on the Greek temples at Paestum was certainly enticing. We stopped for lunch at Italy's only organic water buffalo farm - a lunch that moved to the top of my list of favorites.

Getting into Positano required some transportation magic and the pay-off was the most charming town clinging to the rocks above the Tyrrhenian Sea.

We took a bus from Positano to Amalfi on our free-day to visit the paper museum and see the old mill - a highlight for us! The views of the sea from the Amalfi Drive cannot be described and the bus ride was more than exhilarating.
