Welcome

 

Our tour started in Rome, The Eternal City. We arrived a day early and our taxi delivered us to our hotel where we took time for an afternoon nap. Up in time for dinner, we set out to explore our neighborhood, Trastevere.

Before meeting our guide, Caterina, and the rest of our group, we spent the next day checking out a couple of our favorite spots - The Pantheon and Trevi Fountain.

Our first a.m. outing with the group lead us to the Capitoline Museum and the Jewish Ghetto. With the rest of the day to ourselves, we made our way to the top of the Victor Emmanuel Monument. We ended this day at the hotel's rooftop bar where, with Aperol spritz in hand, we enjoyed getting to know some of our fellow travelers.
